Here is Fabric carnation tutorial. And another one. And more. The main thing I want you to keep in mind is that on many of these projects you can use pretty much any type fabric. I encourage you to have fun and try out different fabrics and see how they turn out. Do you have a piece of clothing that is a nice fabric, yet it got ruined or for whatever reason it is not wearable anymore? You could recycle that shirt, dress or that pair of jeans to make fabric flowers. It would be such a waste for it to end up in the trash, right?!
